'First Friday' coffeehouse in Dawson

The "First Friday" coffee Philip G. Cochran Memorial United Methodist Church of Dawson held the first Friday of the month. Coffeehouse Admission and coffee are free. The public is welcome. All shows are family friendly, young and old are invited. Doors open at 6:30 pm, music starts at 7 o'clock additional drinks and light snacks are available. The church is located at the corner of Howell and Griscom, soon face the building of 'Borough of Dawson.

The Leisenring Presbyterian Church will hold its food pantry monthly 8:30-10:30 January 20.Middle Display Presbyterian Church of Vanderbilt will hold its food pantry monthly from 10 am to noon on January 21. In a box or basket with you to collect your items. As always, volunteers and donations are greatly needed and much appreciated.

The Brownfield Community Center, 291 Banning Street to Dawson (Lower Tyrone Township) has a plethora of weekly activities to enjoy during the coming months. At 6:30 pm Tuesday, there will be weekly Nation / bluegrass jam. Admission is always free and everyone is invited to participate. The dealership is still open for this event.Wednesday is Senior Citizens Day junction. Everything starts with the cards to 8 pm, followed by darts at 10 am and lunch at noon. Lunch is taken on the first and third Wednesday of each month, so be firm, and call before registering if you have not been there for a while. Call 724-529-2930. Thursday is karaoke night. Everyone is welcome to come and participate or observe. The fun starts at 6 am to 7 pm Thursdays, darts are played.

Is it true that the President occasionally signs birthday cards?

My friend has a card to the house where he assures me that his parents sent him to George Bush Jr. (back in the day), and got it back signed for his eighteenth birthday. Has it happened?
Note: I have no basis on political opinion, is the President, and I know they are busy .. I saw the card and it seems real enough, but it is not difficult to falsify.

The President has no birthday cards with the exception of large contributors. Presidents have their days full enough without having to sign autographs for fans. They could do it for hours a day!

They have machines now that signing the letters, papers, etc., with the signature of the President, almost indistinguishable from the thing worthwhile. They have been in use since the days of Nixon, in fact most of Nixon autographs are worth a lot less these days because it is so difficult to authenticate.

There is some favoritism in May, somewhere in the White House when somebody sits at this machine used to sign letters and cards with the president's signature. Congratulate the literary form on their 100th anniversary, sports personalities who do something incredibly heroic, war vets who earn big medals, etc.

Absolutely, would not be surprised cause people do random acts of courtesy like that. Or maybe someone else has signed? You will never be aware of unless u get another copy of his actual signature and compare.
