At what age do kids actually read birthday cards instead of tossing them away after extracting the cash?

I guess 28 is the age off right.

My just turned 6 years old, got 3 cards of today's parents and the cards could well have been excluded from the envelope, because it is an age where she can be in cash within . This means that the Christmas card is simply an obstacle that must be overcome so that it can afford to buy another doll, stuffed unicorn.

Can I get a witness?

(blushing guilt) I still do that ...
Except that now I buy flowers for replacement and new music instead of stuffed unicorns. Although long since I went directly to the Unicorns!
but now I make effort to get to read it, too!

I'm 29 and I still have not. nor pleasant. Children are not interested in reading maps. Perhaps once they are around 25, they will.

You know, it depends on the child. My niece, aged 9 years to read the cards as soon as she could read. She loves to read. But the 6 year old throws them. She's cute Blunt about just getting what she wants.

I never give money to children. But I do not give a "piggy bank.:) Is that mean?

My children are 4 and 5, and they do not. I do open the card and return it to me so that I can read it aloud. Then I put all the cards in a big box that I keep the cards in.
