It's too early to say Obama's presidency is a failure

It is not surprising that the Republicans give the president a note flaw after less than a year in office. Many wrote off this president before he took office and they were determined to do everything in their power to ensure it does not follow at all.

What is surprising is the disappointment expressed by the Democrats as much as the President does not lean as far left as they had hoped. Were they not listening during maneuvers presidential?

It is worth recalling the 2008 election was not a referendum on Barack Obama, then a first term senator from Illinois, the teeth of the efforts of his opponent, Republican Senator John McCain to make one. McCain campaign has been almost entirely devoted to annoying to scare voters by painting Obama as a Muslim closet liberal who has dragged with bomb-throwing radicals.

The electorate rejected this means a significant percentage, making the first black president Obama, the nation (though biracial would be a better descriptor).

On Dec. 1, 1969, more than a decade into America's involvement in the
Vietnam War, U.S. Rep. Alexander Pirnie of New York stuck his favourable
